Istanbul Part 3

Last day and another happy wander through the streets with my camera.

Now for a trip up the Galata Tower

Then we took a trip to the Basilica Cistern, which is a cool site to see. It won't take you long to go round, but definitely pop in if you get a chance.

Next stop and last Turkish thing to check off - Shisha!

And now to say goodbye to Istanbul with a good night out! Whose world is it...

Time for Raki...

Two great nightspots we found were Unter and Gaspar, both in Karaköy. 

Unter is a lively bar, with cheesy music which spills out onto the street, while Gaspar is a little more formal, but still has the cheesy music vibes for a great night out!

Istanbul Part 2

After a great day ticking off the main sights, on day 2 we took it easy and wandered around the local area of Beyoglu.

We then stopped off for Turkish tea and breakfast at Naif in Karaköy. This was a really pretty place which was open to the street and great for people watching. 

However this place was quickly eclipsed the next day when we visited the Van Kahvalti Evi Cafe, also in Karaköy which is a complete must for breakfast, but go on an empty stomach!

After breakfast we headed to the Rainbow Steps for some photo ops.

And then wandered on checking out the shops and surrounding streets.

As the evening drew in we decided to to nip across to Asia for dinner...
